SoWeGo removes financial barriers so people can access professional counseling.
SoWeGo was founded in memory of the co-founder’s brother, Jeff, who took his life when he was only 14 years old.
After Jeff died, a local artist—who had also been Jeff’s middle school art teacher—remembered seeing him riding his bicycle near the railroad tracks, often alone.
Deeply moved by what had happened, the artist painted Jeff’s bicycle standing alone in a still winter landscape. His intention was to honor Jeff’s memory with the hope that others might benefit from his story.
The painting reminds us that human connection and support are essential to mental health—and that nobody should have to ride alone.
Jeff’s story is why we started SoWeGo. But SoWeGo is here for anyone who is ready to seek help and needs support getting there.
SoWeGo. Together.
